Plan for more than the piston kit
- Pistons, rings, liners, and bearings matched to the serial
- Head gasket set, seals, and front and rear seals
- Oil and fuel filters for the first fill and the early change
- Water pump, thermostat, and belts if they are near the end of their life
- Turbo inspection, because a tired turbo will spoil a fresh engine
