The main hydraulic pump sets how fast the boom, arm, bucket, and travel can work. When it wears, cycle times get longer and the oil gets hotter. The same symptoms also come from a leaking relief, a tired motor, or oil that is the wrong grade.
Checks before you replace the pump
- Measure cycle time against the service spec
- Read system pressure at the test ports
- Look for metal in the return filter
- Confirm the pump part number and the machine serial
Metal in the filter means the new pump needs clean oil, a new filter, and often a flushed tank. Fitting a pump into a dirty system is a short repair.
Tell us the model and serial, and whether you want a new unit or a reviewed replacement. We will match the rotation and the control type, not only the bolt pattern.
