Parts rarely wear evenly for no reason. A pattern on a bushing, a roller, a liner, or a cutting edge is a record of alignment, lubrication, or a load the part was not set up for.
What to photograph
- Track links that are scalloped on one side
- A roller flange that is sharp while the tread still has life
- A bearing that is polished in one band
- A bucket edge worn to a point in the centre only
Those photos, with hours and the machine serial, often show that the replacement must include a seal, a tension setting, or an alignment check. Changing the worn piece alone puts the same pattern on the new part.
Send the pictures with the enquiry. It is the fastest way to order the group that actually fixes the wear.
